The NIFC is dedicated to strengthening democracy in Israel by supporting over 200 Israeli non-profit organisations that work to protect civil and human rights, improve the status of women, bridge social and economic gaps, assist persons with disabilities, further Jewish-Arab coexistence, foster pluralism and improve the environment.

The NIF Canada educates Canadians about the work of the NIF through programs and activities, raises money to support the Israeli non-profit sector and Israeli organisations and also encourages people to volunteer with the NIF in Canada and Israel.
