You Tube video of Hillary Clinton visit with New Israel Fund grantee Supportive Community
Founded in 2003 by a group of successful businesswomen, immigrants from the former Soviet Union, Supportive Community (Sviva Tomechet) helps unempowered immigrant and veteran Israeli women to open small businesses and employ other unemployed women in order to escape the cycle of poverty. The organisation developed a unique model based on cooperation and mutual support, which integrates women who own small businesses with women who are considering it. Supportive Community cooperates with local authorities, organisations, and businesses to create a supportive community for businesswomen. So far some 3,000 women have participated in its programmes.

Hilary Clinton praises NIF-grantee “Supportive Community” small business development programme for women. Hilary Clinton meets Deputy Director and Founder Yulia Resnikov, staff and women entrepreneurs who have graduated from its courses.
