Shira Ben Sasson - Furstenberg 32, has been the Religious Pluralism Project Director at SHATIL since March 2005. Born and raised in a liberal Orthodox family, Shira was an officer in the IDF and received her BA and MA in cultural anthropology from the Hebrew University. Shira dreams of an Israeli society that is open to various forms and expressions of Judaism, in which people respect one another’s religious choices.
