New Israel Fund UK is part of an international philanthropic partnership working to strengthen Israel’s democracy and to promote freedom, justice and equality for all Israel’s citizens. We believe that Israel’s strength depends as much on its commitment to democratic principles as on its ability to defend itself against physical and military threats.

Unlike other Israel-focused charities we pride ourselves in dealing with real issues and are prepared to acknowledge that injustices do occur in Israel. We want to resolve these issues by raising funds for programmes that we believe will ultimately build a more just and peaceful society in Israel and allow it to reclaim its position as a ‘light unto the nations’.

Over the past decade we have been running an extensive programme of events and activities throughout the year with the aim of connecting people in the UK with Israel in a way that is both realistic and positive.
