On the eve of the 50th anniversary of the 1967 war, Naomi will be speaking on the impact on Israeli society of 1967 and the subsequent Occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, what the present situation in the OPT means for Israelis and Palestinians, and the shadow the Occupation throws on Israel’s international standing.
Former Israeli Knesset Deputy Speaker and past president of the New Israel Fund, Naomi is a top leading human rights activist, academic and politician, and Professor Emerita of Political Science and African Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is currently Dean of the School of Government and Society at the Academic College of Tel-Aviv-Yaffo.
